Ok, here is the skinny:

I am looking at going BH for a while (I may go full Ranger at some point, but I want to try BH). However, I am going two rows of skills in Ranger. I am going to go Wayfaring due to the speed/cam stuff. I was going to go Trapping due to the traps that can be used in upper levels vs NPC... But then I remembered some mention of changing Bio-Sci to Tracking soon... which seems like it would be cool to have with BH....Can anyone make some recommendations about this.. please? I am at Wayfaring 2 now and need to figure out whether to go hard and heavy for trapping, or Field bio now....

If I were you, I would dump trapping. With your BH skills, I would hope you wouldn't need to rely on traps to kill your marks.

Good point. Right now I am not quite BH so I am not too sure what to expect... :-) But being able to track will be nice.. esp when I don't want to be too-antisocial... :-)

as a BH you need:

Camo from NPC's (wayfairing) and Tracking (for tracking NPC bounties)

No need for traps. Remember you still have trapping as a skill from scout, It might be possible to buy the trip-wire trap from a ranger and use it.

I was wondering about the Trip Wire traps too. Also, what about the Dathomir Camo sets that only a Master Ranger will be able to make...? Can a non-Master use/apply them? If there are any near-Master Rangers on Kettemoor, I would like to explore this option once the patch is put into effect.... :-) Let me know... I will get the Dathomir items needed to make the Kit(s)....

I truly am excited to see these changes... BH/Ranger will be nice compliments... I know some people swear off BH.. that is fine. I REALLY appreciate the insight, but I still intend to try it out myself.. I may just go a bit into Carbine/Pistol and then rely on Ranger and Novice Rifleman.. I LOVE the t-21.. figure that out as the punches come...

I will say this.. other than the one guy that seems to always post bad-blood type of postings here (and the bulk of you seem to know who it is), I am impressed with this group.A fewwhiners, but good group overall (after all it is human nature to complain)... Much better than the bulk of Commandos, CHand BH people I have spoken with... I wanted Commando, but got sick of all the whining, so now Ranger... and I have yet to be disappointed.. Thanks guys!
