Master Ranger here asking a dumb question I know....

I know you need a certain level of camping XP to "use" certain tents, but usually that ability to create the camp and use it go hand and hand. ( by the time you're able to make it you obviously can use it)

But I've heard you can sell higher level camps to people who can't make them yet, which is cool if true.

Which leads me to my next question...

How can we tell if a lowbie can use our camps. With medicine, a stim pack will tell you the "medicine use" required to use it, then you look over at your skills and decide if you can use it.

But the camp avatars and examine info doesn't seem to tell you what camping skill is req'd to use a camp. Am I missing something? Or do we just need to figure it out ourselves.

Does anyone know the camping skill requirements for all camps?

I need to get crafting HQFB's if this is true!

I know you can use a HTFB at frontiering 3 since I gave a friend 5 of them to use during our Ranger meeting, and someone asked me if they could try to deploy my HTFB and I sold them one (cheap) and they couldn't but wanted to keep it anyway because it was so darn cool so there is at-least some potential for that here, but don't know any of the specifics beyond that

You aren't supposed to be able to use a camp you don't have theability to make, but apparently with the Scout Improved Camp and the HTFB you can.

The market right now consists primarily of lazy Scouts and Rangers.

ya but it would be cool if u could use the camps that are one step up ( IE HTFB at Front3....FB at front 1

I have sold many camps to people. You can sell them and anyone can set them up (I believe), but only the specific class of Ranger can make certain camps.

I usually preface by "This is not guaranteed to work as it has not been tested on all classes or reported back to me if it does or not." I really stress that.

Hi-Q base can be setup by some Scouts (moderate knowledge). FB can be set up by ether a Master Scout or a no-box Novice Ranger. HTFB is as you said before, only about one rung down from where you can make one. Note that many of the Scout camps require NO knowledge to set up.

I have sold traps and camps to a Merchant already. I didn't think there was a market for them, but I bumped into a few asking for them.

I have successful sold All Ranger camps from bazaar sells to individuals whom want the HTFB. I made 10K two days ago from someone whom want a few HTFB for use. Since I am a master ranger it is hard to confirm, but I have see people with Frontiering III deploy the HTFB, as for the other camps. I am not sure.

I didn't make HTFB, I thought they had a heal bug. Did they fix this?

I remember them saying somewhere that in the Camping trees when youdon't get a new camp (say for example Frontiering I) you can use the camp fo the next step up, you just can't make it. So Somone with Frontiering 3 can BUY a HTFB from a Master Ranger and deploy it, but you need Frontiering 4 to MAKE it Answer questions?

Oh, and I think 2 or 3 patches ago they fixed the bug on the HTFB

I'm close to Frontiering III, and would buy HTFB camps if I could find them, if they give me faster Wilderness Survival XP.I also think this would be a good way for rangers to make money, and would sell Field Bases if anyone would ever buy them. (I've tried on the bazaar and there doesn't seem to be any demand)

Has anyone tested this? Perhaps XP isn't any faster, or perhaps no one knows that you can get XP quicker this way.

Oh, and I'm not lazy...I can craft a camp with my eyes closed while running overland or waiting for a shuttle...or even while (drum roll please) CAMPING!!! lol
