I was running around on Tatooine today trying to gather some resources for the new camo kits when I ran across (rather was agro'd) by an "OverKreetle". I'm at Novice Rifleman and this thing conned Yellow, however it was easy to kill. I let loose my trusted cowardly Gurrek against the MoB and pulled out my trusted Blaster and we unleashed hell against this oversized bug. In the end I had gained over 300 xp in trapping and 600+ in pistol xp. Another thing I noted was that the MoBs didn't assist one another. So, for all of you up and coming Rangers that like to solo this is a small MoB that might be worth you time.

Overkreetles were added in the last bit patch (from last month), as near as I can figure. Sometimes they spawn on their own. Sometimes they spawn when you destroy a kreetle lair (along with dozens of other little friends just waiting to whomp on you). Kinda nifty.

I see them around my shop from time to time.

Well my friends theory on the tusken thing may answer your question. Because we tried it out and it seems to work.

When you first go their ( providing noones been their for quiet some time) you start on wave1. Mostly easier Tuskens and no King at the top

When you clear the fort and go out and wait 10 minutes you come in to wave2. which is a bit harder with more tuskens at a higher diffuclty ( more warlords/savages, less commoners) When you beat that wave it again becomes more diffuclty.

This idea has been tested but ofcourse cannot be proven without a Dev saying so

There's another type called a Death Kreetle - about the same as an overkreetle but deathblows. Could lead to a nasty surprise if you ran into one while running from something else.

Yeah, Death Kreetles have been in as long as Overkreetles. They are slightly larger and tougher than normal kreetles and they are social as well. They are mostly encountered out in dunes type terrain, such as the Eastern and Western Dune Seas.

Overkreetles are from last patch... Watch out for Swarming Kreetles now though! Tougher than normal kreetles (if you can call them tough ) and they assist.

- Just like the Naboo Krevols, and the lair defenders that spawn near the end. One good Spin Attack and they all flop over dead.
