I think area track is a great addition to the Ranger. Last night I was able to use it to hunt down some rasps so I could collect some avian meat for a doctor I know.
I have a question though, I only have tracking 2 and I don't know what distance things are which is fine, but what is the max distance area track scans? 300m, 500m? After I do an area track I'd like to know how far I have to go to get outside the radius so I can do it again.
Now a suggestion, I'd like to see the output window sortable by creature/person etc AND/OR by direction. So if I'm only looking for rasps I can sort and see where they are, or I can sort by direction and see if there is anything good where I'm headed, or maybe just off my current course (example, I'm heading west, and something I want to hunt is northwest).

Hey Gronchar
I think the max the area track works is to about 500m. You can turn your radar up to see this far, but the thing is, some creatures don't spawn til you get within certain limits, so you will not see em til you get close to them. Taking the good with the bad, I find that if I don't run like a wild banshee across the countryside, I find what I am looking for easier, letting it come to me as it were.
Happy hunting
