Thread: Help me out here, are camo kits even worth the trouble?
Well, I've never been able to get within 50 meters of Dune Stalkers on Tat. Last night with camo on I was petting them. I was also able to breeze through many Jabbas (I have -5000 Hutt faction). Now I can go to Lok and maybe not get destroyed thanks to my -5000 Nym faction. (Uh, thanks Devs, for having Nyms that never aggro'd us, then turning them lose when all of us have -5000 faction. Any chance you could 'reset' our Nym faction please?)
Can't wait to get master and count coups on Night Sisters.

I will postmy contrary experience. I can only speak of my own experience with mobs on Corellia which was 1) Significantly reduced reliability of Maskscent, 2)No noticeable differencebetweenMaskscent and Concealv. creatures and 3) Lack of any camo effect v. aggressive humanoid mobs using Conceal. I will use the remaining Corellian Camo kits I made to continue to compare Conceal and Maskscent v creatures. I won't be making any more Corellian Camo Kits unless I get a different result v creatures than I did last session. As I travel, I will likely try a few kits on each planet to see if there is variation by planet.
If I were hunting Rori I would wait until I couldbuy the farmed resourcesI needed for the Rori Camo Kits. Then I wouldtest the effectiveness of Conceal therein comparison toMaskscent by doing a few nests of a particular aggressive mob type I had hunted extensively pre-patch (vir vir maybe). I would do some nests with Maskscent and an equal number with Conceal. I would base my decisionsaboutresource purchase/productionon the results of the comparisons. Abssent a significantly better result using Conceal than Maskscent I would use the free Maskscent.
