Thanks for that confimation Kashir.. I had no idea.

Shows up on the planetary map as well? That's kinda cool. I wonder what else we can beg for to be put into the camp as far as factional perks?

All I asked for was for theflags to show TEF, but this is way cooler. Not perfect mind you, but cool nonetheless.

Although I've never had enough faction points stored up to buy a single piece of faction armor, I find this encouraging. It only makes sense that if the devs plan on adding this kind of functionality to field bases then they're planning on making themmore of a permanent structure.

Hello folks.

Any Imp/Reb Rangers care to shed some light?

While Overt in my High Tech Field Base, I noticed something interesting.

While in the Camp Device, I noticed another Tab called Item Requisition or something along those lines.. (I'm at work and posting from memory)

Basically, I was able to buy Faction Armor and Weapons, Faction Bases, and All the trimmings. No Faction Pets though..

Is this supposed to be there? I had no idea it was there. I know not many Rangers are ranking members of any faction, so I am just curious. I never see it mentioned though.

Anyways, if I had a higher rank in my faction, do the perks get better? If not, are we trying to make this work better? I know buying a faction pet from my Camp Device makes as much sense as being able to buy a Large Turret or Detachment HQ, but I am curious how far this goes.

Since I never noticed it before, it's nice to see someone paying attention to us wartime Rangers. Give us something worth getting involved in the war eh?

Also, it works for every overt member of my group too. I asked some higher ranking members to see if they could buy more stuff, and they couldn't. Any further elaboration?

I noticed it too but I haven't played around with it. Your base will also show up on the planetary map (ctrl+V). It's an intended addition to our bases but I dont think the implementation is entirely complete. It isn't much use if the base doesn't stick around.

The part about these camps showing up on the planetary map got us into trouble recently. The rebel alliance was planning a raid on an Imperial PA city on Lok, and the rally point was a secret location north of the city. Until a ranger set up camp on the rally point and every player on the planet could see it.

Hmm, where does this show up? I was told that Tech bases show on the map, but recently tested it and nothing showed up. I know my guild's large faction base is under Rebel, as a detatchment base, but I dunno where to look for my Tech base.

Also, is it like the detachment base, where only your faction can see it? Yes, I logged on my friend's neutral crafter, and the base wasnt listed, but every rebel I know, Covert or Overt, can see it on the planet map.

This is also true of the field base kits as far map registration and being able to requisition faction wepaons and installations.

I hava question I would like to attach here. ( so please forgive )

But at one time didn't the high end ranger camp remain deployed as long as you didn't logou or take it down?

I became a Master Rang, for those camps, only to find that those camps auto-takedown (for lack of a better word) whenever I get in a fight or leave 'em.

Sadly, it was actually a bug that the High Tech Field Base failed to disband.
