I am tired of this -- "I want the best, go risk life and limb and pay for a trip to the butt end of no-place to get me meat"

I noticed the following -

No mention if he is willing to go with us to provide medical support. Probably not, as most (I said most, not all) docs are sissies who hate wandering the wilds. Again, most, not all, some of the docs are real mean and nasty, the rest are useless.

No mention of cpu or anything. Probably willing to pay all of 5cpu, wow, I will be rich offa you. And what do those meds and buffs sell for? I can't afford em, I know that, not on what you are paying me.

"You will get xp" Hey I get xp for killing butterflies too, they are right outside the door, and I don't get ate doing it.

And no mention of possible discounts or freebies of the stuff our meat will be used to make.

We are being screwed blue and laffed at. I am almost totally out of the meat business, excepting for one or two friends, I don't even harvest meat anymore. I sell hides if and when I want to, to whom I want to.

A pox upon the morons who want stuff and don't want to help harvest it.

that's when you get a nice 10k stack, msg the person... say "oh, you wanted it for 5cpu? sorry... i'm selling this 1000OQ/1000PE herb meat for 45cpu..." Then hang on to it until the resource disappears, and sell it outside of Coronet Spaceport for 70cpu.

Refuse to work cheap! Because you went through hell (the entire Frontiering tree) to get there!

I agree...I use to charge3 cpu for my really low quality organics...now I don't do anything under 10 even when I am just unloading my low quality stuff. Part of it is you have to build up your clients. Once you start to do that, you will find plenty of artisans willing to pay 30-60 cpu for great organics.

Besides, we are Rangers! We are suppose to be able to handle this stuff on our own! Step up to the plate folks and lets show them what Rangers are made of! I think if we start selling organics, I don't think anyone will be able to keep up with us!

I totally agree on the organics issue....I harvest everything I kill. I also stockpile the stuff until someone is willing to buy it. I just sold a stack of 14981 Wooly on Shadowfire to the highest bidder. I have oodles of hides and meats and wont sell my hard work for pennies on the dollar. If I am strapped for cash, I will just run a few BH missions while I wait for a buyer.

I dont agree with the medical personnel part though as I know a few very cool Docs and CM's. I always look out for them and the kindness seems to be returned. It is all in perception. I have run across a couple Docs that wont even answer you when asking if they Buff or not. They are probably the ones that pay 2 c/u on organics and get pissy if you refuse to hunt it. I only hunt the quality stuff and let all the scoutt types handle the grinding organics. I think as a very soon to be Master Ranger I earned the right to harvest what I want and sell for what "I" believe is the right price. If they dont accept the price, then I have no problem letting itpile up to 50K stacks and selling at my leisure.

Allie and I run missions almost every night on Dantooine. She always holds her own andfights as much as any bh/commando/pistoleer. She has also saved me from death pleanty of times. She always buffs me and never expects anything in return. The only reason she asks others to get herb meat for her is because she has spent her skill points somewhere besides scout. Whenever she asks me to do something I try to help out the best I can. Anyways, you guys were way off base in ripping on her, she wasn't telling you that you have to do this for her, she was just asking if someone would be willing to help her out and be financially compensated in return.

I see this all the time, med or BE's needing meat. Your obvious answer is to band together and announce hunts. This is what I did, and the Antarian Ranger monicer is excellent for that. Get a list of merchents that need this stuff, post the list for your group and got get the meat with your group. Ya, it's a pain that SW:G sales peepsLIED and makes you group to get anywhere, but untill they get a clue use the PA Zkull formed on swgalaxies.net and use the HTML facalties and the forums. They are free (so far).

Some docs/meds still need exp and some WILL ask to come to get their own and might buy the stuff right there, no fuss. If he wants his meat he will see this and may come too

Pardon me, I am also a pistoleer and would be more than happy to go out hunting with anyone who wants to go. I go out with groups all the time healing and fighting. I did not post this to get bashed I just simply asked if anyone WANTED to help to reply. If not keep your comments to yourself. I don't appreciate being called a sissie, I hunt, kill and heal ALLLLLLL the time. I just can't harvest. Youknow all the stims I use healing ppl. I don't ask for anything in return.

Forget this post, I willdepend on my friends in game to help me out. Sorry to bother everyone

One more thing before I offically forget about this post.

Your right I do sell stims from the organics you are talking about, but I sell very, very cheap. Why? to help ppl out that don't have the credits to afford 75k stim packs. I sell mine for less than cost. I'm not out to make a buck, but out to help ppl. Because I am a doctor and it is my job. Of course, you want the WP to my shop to check out the prices, see if I'm lying! DANTOOINE right outside Imp. base. I'm not a sissie my vendor is on one of the most dangerous planets. WHY? to help eveyone out that goes there to fight!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to continue to bash me go ahead, I will never ask another person to harvest for me. I'll just wait for the bazarr or auctions to take place.
