Iam a master Ranger and Creature Handler..

I also have all 4 of pistol in marksman and 3 up the pistol techniques line.. I am bored..

I was starting to think about what melee would be good to start.. I only have enough points afterI surrender all of marksman to go 4 up any novice and then 3 up only one of the trees in an elite.. any suggestions?

Since you dont have novice medic, TKA with meditation 3 would be nice for you. With MCH, you can get there in about 2-3 days. =P

As a good Imperial, you should take up Hairdressing and if you are really daring, become a Chef. These are the best professions for Imps, as they are really in demand right now. Practice these phrases...Dahhling, your hair looks so good in a mullet. You want fries with that??

Seriously, you go melee, get medical skills, at least so you can use stim Bs, preferably Cs. Find a bunch of medics to play with, they will love fixing your bruised, bleeding, broken body for xp.

Bored? Go hunt without pets, and take on social mobs. Running is not allowed, nor are ATSTs. I just got another box in Pistoleer (2-3-4-3) and I am getting some kick butt missions for good pay. Poop on explorer missions, destroy missions are paying me 3k and up, and while they ain't easy, why should they be? (ok, the 3200 durni mission is easy, but shhhh, they might nerf it)

The better your weapon skills, the better the missions, and dare I say, you getbetter monkey-making missions (a small dig at whatshisname the scout correspondent).

first.. Never used an AT-ST, Second gave up Doctor /Combat Medic a long time ago, Third Hardly ever PvP..
All i was looking for was a bit of variety in my gameplay not a few stereotypical comment.. hell im not even all that mean to rebel..

I chos imperial becasue i donot to be a whiny little luke skywalker wannabe and i wanted to live the other side of the story..

Actually there was good advice in there, but as you missed it....

Melee Rangers need massive medical support. I don't think anyone can dispute this. So either find medics to play with or get some medical skills. Going toe to toe with beasties is a sure trip to the medcenter/camp/cloner, depending on how good you are. Being tired of getting made into Ranger paste will make you long for the days of ranged.

The pets comment was directed at the CH in your sig. Try hunting without them, it's actually fun. Makes you appreciate traps. Change tactics - instead of the ho-hum - send in the tank and shoot the beast - try trapping and no tanks, makes for some interesting times. Figure how to take on social mobs without a tank, I did, and do. Go with a group, find a noob and take them hunting for xp, no so great for you but it helps the noob.

This game is only boring if you let it be.

Oh yeah, IM(never)HO, pikes seem to work best for melee, tho I do know some TK rangers who can kick butt in close. I know a master pike who is hel l on wheels with that thing, she drops big beasties with it.
