I got about 10k xp doing this, probably only took 15 min, and started to feel very dirty, like I was cheating or something, but truely a very easy way to get scouting xp.

To keep yourself from feeling dirty, why don't you hit the lairs of those creatures up for their eggs? Decent money there, and that way you can feel like you earned the xp from mask scent.

I personally don't think there is anything "dirty" about doing this. If you think about it, how would a Ranger get better at hiding himself from creatures? By trying to hide himself from creatures.

That being said, it sure is easy xp

I did this on Yavin IV myself, that's how I got almost all my scouting xp for Master Ranger. I also got all of my Trapping xp on Yavin IV, manage to get a single pull with one of those giant spiders, a giant magwax, or a kilknik queen, use phen dart then however many other traps I could manage to fit into my hotkeys. Warning shot was my best friend here, slow them down (phen dart) throw a trap, turn them around (warning shot) get some space throw a trap, getting reamed on root them (adhesive mesh) with a trap and keep running. Scrub, rinse, repeat. I would average around 500 xp per trap and I could get an average of 6-7 traps to stick per critter (and I only loaded about 3 different traps at any given time, coulda had many more set up if I had wanted for even faster xp, but I was having plenty of fun as it was). Took some patience to find single pulls, but well worth the effort.

Kilo, that doesn't sound like "grinding" trapping xp, it sounds like FUN!

I've done it on both Endor and Yavin IV, and found it much quicker on Endor.
