On Bria it shifts about every 1-2 weeks. 2 weeks I think was the max time.

Once a new animal resource spawns, it will stick around for a minimum of 7 days and a maximum of 22 days. So if you're checking the stuff daily and you see that Herbivore Meat has shifted, you won't need to check it again for a week.

Volsted, could you answer a question that I've had for a while pertaining to resource shifts? I'm wondering if every resource type on every planet shifts independently of every other, or if all the resource types on a planet shift at about the same time, or if all individual types of resource on each planet shift at the same time?

For example, will every meat, hide, and bone on Corellia shift at about the same time, independently of the resources on every other planet? Or will all the herbivore meat on every planet shift at about the same time? Or will herbivore meat on Corellia shift on its own, while herbivore meat on Tatooine shifts on another schedule, and avian meat on Corellia shift on yet another schedule, etc.?

I've only been tracking resources for a short while, but it seems like all the resource types on a planet shift at about the same time, on an independent schedule from all the other planets. I'd just like to confirm this.

They shift independently of each other.

Some resources like Steel and Copper always appear on 8 planets. No more, no less. When they show up, they all show up at the same time. But each planet has its own timer, so a resource could disappear off of Dathomir 5 days after spawning, while that same resource could hang around on Endor for 10 days.

Some resources will show up on only 1, 2, or 3 planets. Iron and the Solid and Liquid Petro fuels are like this. Again, they will show up at the same time, but might possibly fade at different times.

Some resources vary. Most of the time, Ores and Gemstones will show up on 8 planets. But sometimes they'll show up on 1, 2, or 3.

Inorganic resources like minerals and gasses will stick around for a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 10 days.

Organic resources like animal resources and flora will stick around for a minimum of 7 days and a maximum of 22 days.
