I'm master right now but considering dropping it completely to go elsewhere profession wise. I'm just wondering if the harvesting bonus of the harvesting droids is tied to creature harvesting ability of our toons. I've heard both that it is, and that it is. If someone could clarify whether the droid's skill is independent to our own or what the situation is that'd be great. Thanks guys

Its effectivness is a perchantage of your total. So if its a 100% droid it does exactly the same as you. Not double the same.

Thanks Fodder. Just talked to a DE on my server and he was advertising that as a novice scout you could harvest like a master ranger with 107 bonus.

Ah well, looks like I'm losin my harvesting ability.

The droids give a BONUS added to yours on a sliding scale. The higher up in ranger you are the less the bonus is. It does not equal, it adds. A 100% R3 which I believe would be a 120 bonus rating, would give you 20% over your normal harvest. They help out scouts but they do not let them harvest as much as a ranger by any means.
