I am abandoning the Ranger fellowship for some time. I' ve been playing SWG for 7 months, 6 as Master Ranger. Now, I need to feel useful inthe GCW and in the actual Dungeons.
As a Ranger, is clear that Master Ranger is a waste of skill points for the GCW. It is one of the few professions you need a previous Master to achieve it and you do not obtain any benefit in PVP (nor you give any benefit to your mates, evenan Artisan has a roleplay in GCW making good items for his guild mates).
In the other side, all actual Dungeons are fullness of NPCs. There is not any creature there. So, there is not any benefit ofbeinga Ranger neither.
I choose now to surrender Ranger because the combat rebalance and the new jedi system is "near" (1-2 months), so I want to tastea bit of these new things also.
Untill JTL expansion be issued, I plan to try some "rebalanced" combat professionsand maybe BH. After that, I hope I can hear DEVs talking about a Ranger revamp (or, at least, ranger skills working as they are supposed to). Then, you can bet your best HTFB camp that you'll see me back as MR.

You might have missed that announcment in 'In Development' (25 pages of flames already hehe) but the actual combat rebalance has been delayed to a not further specified time after the release of JTL.
