The carnage.

So I ran around Endor unbuffed last night, trying to teach myself how to use that darn Harvest Droid. Then, I realized... whoo hoo! I qualify for Master Rifleman! So I went to Coronet and got trained and for the heck of it got buffed so I could run around recklessly and try out my new skills.

Back to Endor. I approach my first blood frenzied boar wolf lair. Brandy. Pet out and on guard. Armor on. Droid out. Check. I'm ready. Hope I don't die again. 30 seconds later the boars are dead, a Korga Cheiftan and two Warlords who were misfortunate enough to be nearby are dead, and one of those big lantern birds who always piss me off is dead. My pet hasn't moved (meaning that none of them even AGGRO'D me). My mind is completely spent. And my droid has lost power and fell over out of surprise. (Damn droid)

For the first time in my career I feel... I feel... UBER! +dizzy+

For some reason this makes me feel guilty. I think I need to be nerfed. I think I need a bigger brandy bottle. I think there are some rasps on Talus who will regret ever having heard the name of PAKS!!! Mwahahahaha! *sniff

Is this the dark side?

Welcome to the massive bump up that is Master Rifle(wo)man. I was really surprised at how quick the mind goes with those specials.

...and not only the mind, you burn up the rest of theHAM too that you never had to worry about before. You will want to stop using PU's also, or buy lots and lots of replacement rifles.

But then it is kinda fun to be able to drop an Enraged with an E11 or a DLT20a.

I remember when i went from 4/4/4/4 to Master Rifle back in the day. And man what a jump in fighting. I wasnt buffed and yeah i could only get a couple shots off, this was pre-chef revamp, but it didnt matter. I was doing 3-5k damage to each of my targets.

Dont feel guilty about Master Rifle. Just enjoy it until the combat balance. And think about the Laser over the T21 since your going to be burning up rifles like its no ones business

Too bad Master Carbineer doesn't have the same jump in ability at master.

congrats... sadly, rifles are the only weapon profession i have not done yet... i just like pikeman way too much atm.

yep, I had very close sensations like yours when I mastered rifle... even the guilty feeling

I quickly through them away and began killing/harvesting creatures madly for the pleasure of joining 25 k leather units in only one night.
