Anyone know the approximate range on the tracking skill? I assume the area increases with each box?

Does not increase with skill and is around the 450m mark max

I track out to 500 meters. Sometimes even a wee bit farther, but that's prolly glitches. Max I have tracked, and yes, the player was there, was 521 meters.

I just recently aquired tracking 4 and noticed the MAX range is about 500 meters. Now, shouldn't the MAX range be least doubled to 1000m (1km) since master ranger? Realistically, on a clear day, you can see least several miles; give or take a few. Having only 500 meters only limits the Rangers poential to find creatures far away. Even though the radar can vew up to 1025 meters, the tracking should show the same, no?

Any opinions?

You can see for miles. But you cant see the tracks of someone in the ground from miles away. And its 500m radius actually giving you 1000m diameter. Which is a huge distance in game.
