I have not done it myself, but what you need to do is find an Artisan or Merchant or something like that who owns a factory that can manufacture generic items. Work it out with them so that they grant you access to the factory. Then place the schematic and the components to the kit into the factory and it gives you a crate with the kits in it.

that's a summary, not quite as simple as that, but basicly you need help from another player with a factory. From there, if you find someone willing to help, they'll know what to do. sorry but I don't have any sites that lay it down better than that.

Hello,

You can find all the info you need on camo kits in your very own generic crafting device. Open it up and go to the generic items tab, I believe (same one as your camps and traps). It will show you what camo kits you can currently make (each progression in the Ranger trees gives you new ones).

Click on those particular camo kits and it'll show you exactly what resources you need for each kit. They're pretty specific (i.e. Lok camo kit needs x amounts of Lok x meat, x amounts of Lok x hide, things like that).

Hope it helps,

Anyone can own a factory. You will need a weapons tool and a public or private weapons crafting station. Then you make a camo kit like you would normally. But you can a new option "Create Prototype" or "Create Manufacturing schematic". Choose the second. Go to the factory and under OPTIONS add the schematic. Under options "Load ingredient hopper". You have to use the same ingredients as the schematic. So if its 50 Canin Animal Bones and 45 Hybiscis Hide you have to use the same stuff in a factory run just multiply that by how many you want. No subsitituions.

Hope that helped

No actually it would work as a public crafting station and should do the job. Didnt even think of that.

Hmm, learning something new everyday. So there are no skill prerequesits to purchasing and running a factory? So my question now is, where does one look to purchase a deed for a factory?
And what other things does a factory require to run?
Would it even be cost effective for a ranger to run a factory to run off a few crates of traps every now and then, or would a ranger need to sell some of these things on a vendor to cover the costs of a factory?
Sorry to complicate the question, it's just that I have been thinking of doing this myself recently.

Any place u can buy harvester deeds is a good place to buy a factory deed. They shouldnt cost more than 50k. To run one you will need to have cash for maintance and power. Maintance ticks downs every min so make sure u stock it well. 10k credits normaly keeps you factory good for a week to 10 days, Power is ONLY used up when the factory is RUNNING.

the High Tech Field Base has a general crafting station in it. that works for the experimentation and creatinga prototype schematic. but you still need the factory.
