Its ok just grab your mount head off to the wild lands of Talus or Rori and watch the skies. Makes everything better.

cant say I have seen any Ranger's complaining about the combat rebalance.
I have been guilty of throwing my hands up in the air over my needs vs the games offerings in the past..basdicallyjust want to play a complete and finished product like anyone else.Ultimately thoughSWG is what i want to play and where I want to play. So I pay hope its worth the wait for the goodies and promises, and just enjoy what I have available to me.

I would give you a hug, but there is no combat fiasco.
1) Rangers are much more successful hunters than other professions ( I am a 4 2 4 3 ranger), because of mask scent and camouflage and ability to collect larger amounts of resources from a creature than other porfessions can.
2) About PvP... You are not going to be "uber" in PvP unless you have 2 combat professions. Ranger is not a combat profession, its a hunting profession.
3) You can be helpful in PvP by tracking players during base attacks and defences. Also, any person with ranged combat profession is very helpful in a group during PvP.
4) If a ranger is having problems in combat with creatures he/she should either change combat profession (if you have something like swordsman/ranger combo it might be a problem and limits ranger's abilities), or really think about what he /she is doing wrong.
5) I keep discovering more and more of ranger's abilities and I am sure that others do it too. I am a ranger/master rifleman and i can solo a bull rancor unbuffed pretty easily. With only a one shot of brandy and about 5-7 concealed shots you can wound the creature badly enough to start using usual shots. I really don't understand people who want to improve their profession to the point where there are no challenges left.
6) If somebody thinks that rangers are "super scouts", they should really think it over. Rangers are no more super scouts as riflemen are super marksmen... Ranger is a scout based profession and yet brings unbelievable amount of opportunities for those who understand it.

what they don't realize is that a better game is the game that takes the time to make itself good. Unlike many others I am PLEASED by the announced decision to take the time and do things right.
Yes, I want a balanced game. Yes, I want JTL. Yes I want a better Ranger.
but more than all of that, I want all of these thing to work together. I want a game that's a coheasive unit, not an amalgamation of parts that's no good. Them taking their time may mean that the idiots scream and moan...but in the end, if they do it right, and they make the expansion and the balance GOOD, the people who complained and left will be proven wrong. With any luck those who leave will stop paying, lose their characters and be forced to start all over again.

Please excuse me, I did not mean to offend anybody. Especially my fellow rangers! Guess it was a bad time for posting... right after reading all that negative stuff on the forums. It upsets me too. /Hug illewind, sorry buddy.

I recognize it too. I live in Wisconsin and it is used as t-shirt slogan at our local Renaissance faire.

I have heard that quote as well. Its from a movie I think. But dont think it doesnt happen in real life. I was ina job that put me on a 30 day probation for not smiling at work. So my job was being threatned unless i became happy.
A bit off-topic but its sadly true.
