/chat join RIN
After seeing RIN work on the GRM's (well, GRM I, can't remember GRM II too well...) I'd been opening a RIN channel on Bria as and when I remembered.
Now that the chat channels you were connected to on shutting down automagicaly reconnect themselves on boot, I've been loading RIN on Bria whenever I'm ingame. Doesn't get a huge amount of traffic but its nice when somebody chimes in with a hullo...
When I take my other toons out to play on other galaxies (some of whom, shudders at the thought, aren't rangers) I like to check and see if there's a 'local' RIN. Again, mostly because it helps me feel 'at home'. Sort of like having a favourite radio station and finding you can still receive it when on holiday.
So.
Which servers have a regular / semi regular RIN ? And are you all tuning in? Useful for finding somebody else who can help with training, trading sweetspots, shooting the breeze...

Hey ken, RoB has a chat channel on Bria. We used put it up when ever we had a hunt, or just in general. But when ever the person that created it logged it went poof at server roboot. But now with new chat system we have a perm chat channel. There is also a "ranger" one under pulblic chat, but I know the guy who created it. If he made it for RoB I'll have him deleted it. Since we have one actually named rob. And /rob is easier to type too.

Not sure if one on Shadowfire but will be making it upon entry. Tried joining the local AR chapter but no replies whatsoever so /shrug. Not to mention I am currently Imperial (albiet that is under very strong consideration to change), and the AR chapter, FTP (Ranger CORP) on Shadowfire, is neutral/rebels only apperantly.
Anyhow...you'll find me on RIN i know for sure if you visit Shadowfire.

ROFL, didn't find RoB earlier, but it's further up the alphabet than RIN and I must have stopped looking or something.... err... yeah..
Was actually thinking RIN might be of more use as a general rangery thing as its not associated with any PA/Guild (I know RoB are all happy go lucky, come on in and share some time folk, but y'know, there are SOME guilds out there that get REAL miffed if you step into their space...)
anyway, am off to grab a screeny of ken' on the roof of a field base before he starts complaining that am neglecting him.

Kauri has had one for almost a month now. It's not just limited to Rangers though. We have lots of crafters and others looking to buy resources or hire trackers.
