With the revamp, to me it looks like Ranger and BH might be a great combo. I was reading the new ranger info but did not see what kind of exp is going to be needed.Anyone tested this combo out yet?

MBH is a great addition to Ranger as it is at the moment (and was great for hunting afk Jedi on Kash not so long ago). With the proposed Revamp it can only get better.

ROFL...

This reminds me when i dabbled with Ranged way over a year ago when droids were **edit**ed searching for player marks... Had to use Area Track normally around the Endor Smuggler or Research Op's to the ones iwere looking for if i was lucky (Endor = Jedi grinding heaven pre-Publish9)

A lot of Rangers are already MBH because it saves us skill points and still gives us a lot of attack options. I'm one and it works okay, albeit I still can't pvp, I do occasionally get lucky and kill a Jedi grinding or low on force. It already works really well as a template for pve, but in the future it appears it will be better for pvp, too.

I too had the tracking line of ranger Pre pub 9 with MBH...well tracking 3 If I remember right on the skill points that were left over. I went with MBH/Mcarbs on my BH now Jedi after that. I was making my alt a BH and with this revamp I am liking what I am reading about ranger now. Nice that they are going to cut the points down to so that I can get some healing in as well. Just need to see what trees are need to get ranger.

strange the number of jedi that seem to trust you when you say you are searching for graul marauders or blurg raptors with teh tracker name up and tell em you are not hunting any jedi /grin

i just hope it is as fun now as it was hten

Even when i gave up Master Ranger and picked up MBH i kept my Master Ranger title to now recently. I had a "pre-neft title bug title" and eventually now changed title from Master Ranger to Stalker. I regret doing it once a while cause the Master Ranger title was kinda like a trademark when i was hunting (the same went for my Tusken Outfit) but Stalker appealed more when i retired and im more just living a role as a old-school Master Bounty Hunter!

Master Ranger/Master Bounty Hunter and Carbineer will be a very effective PvE template if the pre-reqs stay as Keldarin stated they might be.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

As an MBH I am hoping the requirements will change a bit for Ranger so I can pick it up without crippling my offense/defense.

I have been playing a BH since launch and I am totally stoked for the Ranger revamp!
