Yeah, I'm really interested in seeing how the PVP Stealing system is going to work. Obviously people will not be able to steal a players most rare, and precious things like A Kamino Great Staff or something. If they did that everyone would leave the game lol, and could you blame them. The concept of PVP looting has been mentioned / trired before in other games, but it was because of that issue here in swg that I believe it never surfaced, this should be good to see.

As stated in the original in-development thread, there is no chance you will see this ability looting actual loot from stealing. You will not see 'leet gear suddenly vanishing from inventories. I advise you read the section again for further enlightenment.

There will not be PvP stealing. At least now with the initial publish. Only "flagged" iterms will be able to be stolen. And there won't be any "flagged" items in-game when this gets published. At a later date they might add items that are flagged, but they will be quest and mission-specific.

Thats what I said. I read it twice, and completely understand the concept. basicly in laymans terms for those that don't understand simplicity. I was complimenting the fact that they devised a system that will allow pvp looting, yet still maintaine a control of it as to not rob players of things which they may have worked hard on. compliment, not complaint ... COMPLIMENT!!!

to add however, even if player looting doesnt make it at all. Ranger is going to get a nice change, and it's long overdue.

My apologies-apparently, it's getting to the point where I've seen so many comments on it that my brain is beginning to fill in non-existent blanks. I'd stop reading the Dev Tracker threads except you never know when something is going to pop out in a completely unrelated forum; the downside is that I have to deal with the general screams from other unnamed professions (or disciplines, as they prefer to think of them as).
Between that and the apparent deterioration of the Ranger forums, I expect I'm a little more on edge than normal. I'll try to rein it in.
