Hi there guys,

Ive been putting a lot of man hours into training a new char of mine, and ive finally got to ranger tracking 4 (dont even talk to me about the scout trapping tree... soe... why i oughta...). I was doing this because i was fed up of scouring the naboo countryside on other chars looking (actually looking with my eyes lol) for the peko peko albatross to kill, so i can put feathers into a armour set a friend of mine is making for me.

Having finally got the top tracking skill (apart from the master box) I went out looking for the peko peko albatross along the north shore of naboo, from the left of theed to the far right of the map, stopping every few hundred meters to track. I found some normal peko pekos, I found a couple of Giant peko's, but no albatross. I know these things are rare, but with a high level of tracking, and putting afew hours into searching the entire coastline and back a couple of times... im suprised that i didnt find any.

I know if there are wp's that usually have creatures like them nearby, people dont like to talk about them because it encourages camping... but if anyone could tell me of any likely places they might be, wp's or areas... or even ways to improve my tracking coverage or where I might be going wrong, it would be greatly appreciated!

thanks for your time guys,

Grey

Hmm...well I've only been able to find two myself. One was in the east of the map at the end of the cliff and the other was just north of Theed. I've heard that the most common location to find them is northwest of Theed but my guess is the spawn is totally random (just like the boar, moisture farmer and pirates in the Hero of Tatooine Quest).

However, there was a thread created on this a while ago, about how rare creatures could be forced to spawn. I think the conclusion was that the more hunting and killing you do in an area, the more high CL creatures spawn. If you do a load of hunting in an area where a rare creature spawns then eventually that creature should spawn near your location (I think this was tested on the gorax). I wish I could give you a link to the thread but the search function isn't working. Lithium...

I hadn't seen an Albatross for almost a year. After CU I killed 4 of them north of Theed (less than 1000m north). Guildmates also said they killed one or two there also.

Couple weeks have passed, haven't seen any.

Try North of Theed and follow the "ridge line" East of theed. Not sure about the coast line, I have never found any there....
