Thread: Looking for Bria Ranger guilds
"Oceas" to your friends list. I also have a shop if you are out of traps, camps,
camo, etc and don't have time to make your own. (Hey, it happens). Crates of
P-Darts available already. I haven't had my actual grand opening yet, so I'm
still stocking.
I'm still working on Camo kits. I originally wasn't going to sell them until
I truly realized how bad it sucks for crafters, bio engineers, CH's etc to get
around the aggro mobs so they can do their jobs. So far I have Dantooine Camo,
and I'm working on Dath and Endor now. Yavin and Tat will follow soon.
I was totally against selling them, but my new alt toon is a crafter, and got
his arse owned several times by mobs. I changed my mind about the camo real
quick. Thank SOE, I guess.
hehe, thanks guys. I've got 7 Armorsmiths who are lining up to help level out the armor pricing on Bria. BUT.. we will need to have a steady flow of hide to keep it going. Now, before I hear the complaints that "Cheap armor means 15 cpu for hide! Rangers will go broke"... it ain't like that. At all.
I am asking for Rangers who will do steady work for 30-50cpu for the hide we need ( depending on the quality of course ). Some of these are new smiths, some are veterans after years in the business ( like me
). The flip side is that they have all promised to keep their armor below 300k per set with most sets being targeted for 200-250k per set. It will be a little slow at first, as they build their operating capital, BUT... you will be guaranteed business and work for quite a long time.
Now, the all important question: What happens when that UBER hide spawns and every smith on the server goes nuts with prices and bidding etc... ?
I'd love to think that every ranger would appreciate steady business in the lean times to provide the same great service in the fat times.. but unfortunately the almighty credit is a pretty powerful attraction and I've only met very very few who could resist the lure of selling for an extra 30cpu when they knew they get it. For those rangers who want to work with us.. this is what we'll offer. When those spawns hit, we will of course want them. We will buy more than you can harvest I guarantee. I'm working to recruit up to 12 smiths working full time. That's a lot of hide. You will get top credit for the good hides. I believe a worker is worth his pay, just as I believe my work is worth the cost I charge.
We are opening stores under the name Fair Trade Marketing. And I expect it to be fair to all involved. I had hoped to find a few ranger guilds to work with, however, since I'm not finding those, I'm opening this to individual rangers.
If you would like to be a part of this, contact Fiore in-game. It's no obligation, of course. Simply a fair shake back and forth. Thanks and good luck out there.
