Hello,
the skill mods with creature harversting are not working atm. Maybe bugged or maybe the CU isn't ready for them
I just put 120k into 2 CAs (+5 and +1). I added them to my clothes and I tested the results
1)They work if you check your skills (ctrl+c). I'm scout xx4x and I jumped from 45 to 51. Correct here
2)They stack with veghash. I have +25 veghash and I jumped from 51 to 76. Correct here
3)I tested on lev80 animals and I was harvesting 356units of meat with and without the clothes equipped. With and without the veghash (ok without veghash the number was only 294units, of course). I tested it without the veghash because I was suspecting that this skill could have an overhall +25 capping. It's not the case.
So basically they are broken or bugged. Anyone tested them as well? Same results? Need 2 years for a fixing?

Quick questions: Were you hunting in one are during these tests or, did the creature give same 'health' message (fat and healty, or medium size, etc.)? Also, did the critters have the exact same name?

For what I can say, when you kill the same animals in a mission you get the exact same ammount of meat as they are all in the same conditions. In the test they were fat and healthy. I was groupped only with my pet so no group-bonus was applied.
Of course you rangers harvest a lot more than me beeing Scout xx4x.
Anyway the point is that these skill mods are broken atm like the ranged/melee def ones. I hope for a fix but knowing the huge ammount of urgent fixes the devs are dealing with, I don't expect good news for a while

Good to know that they were from the same lair, but if the have different names (bachelor gualama vs. elder gualama which come from the same lair) they will have different amounts. I am just trying to m ake sure all of the variables are accounted for before we have Owen 'cry wolf.'

In all of my hunting the last several weeks, I've noticed the exact same harvest amount for the same resource at a particular mission spawn. If I remember correctly, it's because the amount of harvest is directly related to the combat level of the creature. It doesn't matter if it's a Bol, or some other name, as long as they are all CL80, for example. The obvious exception is a baby, which will yield 1 every time.
I don't have any skill mod attachments to test whether they are broken or not, but from your experiment I wouldn't want to pay the cost to try it.
