Thread: Mask Sent VS Cammo?

I dabbled in ranger Since Beta, but only fully became one with Respec... just couldnt resist.
I never really understood about Camo vs mask Sent though.
Is camo VS Humanoids and Animals?
Which should I use when Hunting?

Yes camo is for both, but it's not very good right now. I get spotted by level...well actually even level 1 creatures, since the CU. CL80 or higher spots me almost instantly most of the time, with 130 camo skill.

I've noticed on the Rryatt Trail I'm better of with mask scent, as the Kashyyyk Camo kit seems bugged to me.
On another planet: Camo -> Either get xp, or camo breaks when a critter spots me
Kashyyyk: Camo -> Never get xp, camo doesn't break, but critters attack me like I'm buttered toast.

They just keep breaking and fixing camo/mask all the time. I don't see what's so difficult about it.

Honestly, ever since the last patch, I have not seen an advantage for a CL 80 to use either.

I think you guys need to actually rethink your views on these. Mask scent does just that, masks your scent, apply it and forget it. Cammo on the other hand is visual. Even the stupidest mob will know something is amiss when a 6 foot tall bush goes jogging by. If I walk instead of run my cammo will almost never break, if I crawl it never breaks.
