I am a Master Ranger currently and I am looking for suggestions on what melee skill I should stack with Master Ranger. Right now I am a master pikeman which I do like and seems to be working pretty well, but I was wondering if any veteran rangers out there had a suggestion for a better melee skill to go with? Maybe Teras Kasi or something? Thanks much in advance!

Whether its "supposed" to or not, it makes sense that hitting someone with a huge stick would hurt more than beating them with your fist ![]()
Besides, I think the only thing that makes that happen is the Impale and Leg Hit specials. If I remember correctly, when I temporarily respec'd to Master Pike/TKA, I could do more damage using Impale barehanded than I could using my best lance.

Hmm, that's a tough question. I'm Teras Kasi, which I like because of the very independent feel of it - lone guy in the woods, doesn't need armor, a weapon, or even a doctor to heal his wounds. However, the damage output is currently pretty horrible and we have 0 area attacks.
I would think pikeman would do well - your area attacks would be great for taking out swarms of low level creatures for harvesting. Plus, you do more damage than TK (even if you're not supposed to).
I'm not sure I know enough about swordsman or fencer to really be able to address those.
