Thread: What I learned from TIGGS-Fest

So the weekend has come and gone, and I'm back home. Here's what I learned in New Jersey.
1)Tiggs' hair is indeed worthy of recognition in the 80's metal hall of fame.
2)Tiggs doesn't want to give Rangers a cowboy hat. Apparently, she wears cowboy hats, and she doesn't us poaching on her style.
3)Tiggs has a window, while TH doesn't. Therefore, she must appreciate nature. We should pester her a bit more.
4) Tiggs, apparently, has "pincers".
5) According to Tiggs (this was directed to a friend of mine) jumping to avoid damage is an exploit. So, no jump button for SWG.
6)Tiggs is quite freaking cool. Even when she's making fun of Rangers.

unfortunately, there wasn't much information. Sometimes, the answers were enigmatic, othertimes, I simply used a little self-editing and realized that Tiggs was taking time out of her own life to meet us. It simply seemed in poor taste to harrass her all night. But, from what I gathered, we're not getting a hat. And there is stuff coming (no word of how much). she did say that something about a Ranger weapon (not a yes or no), but whatI did gleam from all of this is that she does know what we want, and they do read our forums (she even knew about our aversion to pants of a hot nature!)
all in all, I walked away with a great impression of Tiggs and a sense that she does know the woes of our profession, but can't give specific info right now. I do think the fact that she knows about the hat and the pants and the weapon ideas is a good sign, as at least we know that we are not shouting into a void.

I think the best thing in that situation would be to make some kind of report, and covertly placing it among her possessions.

That's a small but great bit of information. I'm pretty happy knowing that they do read our forums and are aware enough of our profession to carry on its inside jokes. That puts me at ease. Whether or not they do anything with knowledge of our issues is beyond our control - so let's see what happens.

I met with Tiggs at C3 and Fanfest and I can say point #6 is dead-on accurate. As far as the window thing, they're moving offices a lot, so let's start a petition for TH to get a window office. *ducks the petition flamethrower*

Given that, and my conversation with a Dev during combat revamp beta testing, I'm going to take a punt that it's a yes, or at least a "we would if we could" (although I can't imagine why they couldn't).

If you guys get Rangers hawtpants it's all his fault. Plus also I also tried to drive home the point for a Ranger weapon.

Wow, that sooo reminded me of elementary school pictures, where they would ask for you to put your chin to your chest and give a "latent psychotic" loot /rofl
