i just became a ranger, and now i need 5 metal for every camp? where can i get some?

Two options

1) Put some skill points into novice artisan and sample whatever metal you need

or

2) Go to the Bazaar and under the resource container section, fork out a little bit of money and by one big stack of a metal resource.

Metals are stacks of things like copper, steal, aluminum, etc. I just by stacks of 500 and keep em handy. Its worth noting that the upper level camps will require metal and polymer. Polymer is just another specific chemical resource type that again you can either sample for or just buy out of the bazaar.

Buy some off the bazaar, or do what I do!

Grab novice artisan, buy a mineral and chemical survey tool off the bazaar. Then Survey for a metal, go to where its highest concentration is, set up camp, and start sampling. Youll get resources, and survival xp.
