i dont know if this has been covered before, but I have heard from many people that we should stop complaining about our combat skills because we are a not a fighting class. If this is true id like to see a scout/ranger without combat skills. There is no possible way that we can function without combat skills, animalsdo not just lay down and lets us skin them.

The ranger in history has always been a person who can go out into the wild and survive the dangers that the wild presents. Our class scout/ranger DEMANDS we go into combat yet we have to go outside our profession to find those skills and as our prey getsstronger and more dangerous we need morecombat skills. Would anyoneaccept a bounty hunter with just theskills to track their prey, but no ability to bring them down?I admitthat I could have the wrong vision of a scout/ranger ex.hawkeye, texas rangers, bushwacker and even medivel game wardens, but at the momment it seems our pistoleer or rifle skillsmakes us well suited to hit and runcombat and to defend others.

I wholeheartedly agree...just look at the past...Roger's Rangers - led the exploration of the untamed territory of North America....Military Rangers - an elite combat force

I just don't get it either

just look at all the bad-ass EQ Rangers... um, wait... on second thought, forget I mentioned them.

(sorry, I had to say it. Who can resist a chance to rib the EQ rangers. Now, if SWG added EQ and AM3...)
