Ive been a Master Ranger for quite awhile now. I love the kinship that you feel with other rangers, and the respect that other professions give to Master Rangers. Im nearly a Teras Kasi Master (3-4-4-3) but im sure ill fly my Master Ranger title alot more, im very proud of all that camping i had to do.

I think camo kits are gonna be easier with the floral requirements removed. From what ive read, they will work alot better. Still, there are somethings i would like to see given to rangers to further seperate them from Scouts.

  1. Faster swimming abilities granted to Rangers. I am a master of the environment but i cant swim any faster than a dancer. Id like a speed increase for swimming.

  2. /track <Creature Type/ player name>.. I think this is coming but i cant wait for it!

  3. More additions to our /examine information, specifically the addition of Pack information. Is it a creature pack or not? Im a Master Ranger, i should know stuff like this

  4. The ability to search a lair to discover what types of creatures are inside of it. Master Creature Handler looking for a Kliknik Queen Baby? I could search the lair and see if there is one inside of it. Would REALLY be nice to be able to search the lair so i can make sure that there are no deathblowing Kliknik Shredders waiting on me inside (ive been on yavin 4 quite a bit lately).

  5. Item type specific foraging. Sometimes i just want to grab a snack for my Cowardly Gurrek.

  6. Burst run time lengthened. I dont want to be able to run faster than i can now, but i run up hills like other people fall down mountains, i have some strong legs and should have a strong circulatory system. I dont want it increased to insane levels, just increased a bit.

  7. Traps with area effects. I know more traps are coming but im not sure what they are. I would liketo be able to toss a trap into a mob and have it effect all creatures. Maybe it could work like the Fireworks kit, I make 10 Sonic Traps and combine them into one payload delivery device.

  8. The ability to make my own fishing poles. Give me this in the Frontiering line. Its not like fishing poles are such a great money making ability for Artisans, im not even asking it to be taken away from artisans, just given to Rangers.

Well thats about all i can think of, im sure there is something that im leaving out. Feel free to add to the list or flame it to oblivion.

I don't think the concept of whether a creature assists or not lends itself to a simply Yes / No flag, though I've been wrong before.

Either way... Oncesomeoneis a Master Ranger, they should know which creatures assist or not, simply based on observation during combat.

The developers don't want to give out too much information. Learning these things ourselves is apparentlypart of the fun.

"Traps with area effects."

Both of the Ranger traps are Area Effect traps already... They just don't work that well.

I'd like to be able to use traps on PvP why doesn't they work on players...
I'd like to see something new for master rangers make the master status worth it

Put me on the list of people who like to explore and find out these things for myself. Not that I would be upset if the information was given. If it was, I probably wouldn't use it. Well, I know I wouldn't use it because I have the strategy book right here and I never go to it for info on creatures. I just like aspects of a game that make you gather your own intelligence. There are all sorts of resources on the Net and a strategy guide or two if you really want that stuff at your fingertips.

I dont see why it wouldnt be. I do agree that maybe the ranger should find this info out by himself.... but thats not the way this game works my friend. We get XP and we get abilities that we buy with that XP. If i can see the HAM bar on any creature and i can see what dmg it does and what special attacks it does and whether or not it can deathblow me...... im pretty sure that the ability to see Pack: Yes/No would be very easy to implement since the game already knows what creatures are pack and which arent since its not random (good grief, run on sentence )

The developers have actually stated that part of the fun for some players is actually learning this type of information on their own. Handing it them on a silver platter tends to reduce the fulfillment they receive.

The request is on the list, it's up to the developers to determine the proper balance between those who want the information directly versus those who enjoy learning it themselves.
