As rangers, what will be more effective (once any pending TC changes go in), /maskscent or /conceal? I don't mind making up a bunch of camo kits for myself and others, but won't do that if MaskScent is going to provide me the same benefit.

For me, It is really going to depend on how fast they break. Camo kits require resources, so I can't envision using /conceal if it is going to break every 20 meters.

If the number of times is breaks is actually reasonable, I can see myself going for /conceal more often, using /maskscent as pure backup. I get really tired of light blue humanoids attacking me!

Yeah I guess I forgot about the fact that /conceal should be providing camoflauge against NPCs as well as creatures. Provided the bonus is the same (I don't know, is it?), I would imagine /conceal should be the method of choice pending the chance of failure as Elysa points out.

I intend to be using /maskscent on myself... While using /conceal on my Medic (who does not have /maskscent).

I will only use /conceal on myself if I'm trying to evade some nasty humanoid... Though it is just as easy to walk around their position and avoid them altogether.

/conceal is more effective than /maskscent...

But the difference is minimal (I thinkconceal isabout 3% better), and I doubt the improvement is worth the expense of the kits.
