Any master rangers tried to TRACK an AT-ST pet?

Can you?

'Foolish boy. Don't you know anything about Fantasia? It's the world of human fantasy. Every part, every creature of it, is a piece of the dreams and hopes of mankind. Therefor, it has no boundaries.'
'But why is Fantasia dying then?'
'Because people have begun to loose their hopes and forget their dreams. So the nothing grows stronger. It's the emptiness that's left. It's like a despair, destroying this world. And I have been trying to help it.'
'But why?'
'Because people who have no hopes are easy to control. And whoever has control has the power'

Yes you can...they show up as animals though. You can also track players.

Yes, and as stated, the pets show up as ANIMALS.

Oddly enough, so do droids, and droid pets... i.e., an AT-ST shows up as an animal.

I guess it sort of makes sense since we are TRACKing. Thus reading the tracks - as in footprints.

What then doesn't make sense it that the animation (which they were at least nice enough to give us one) is of us scanning the horizion visually... instead of searching the ground for tracks.

And what of the note stating we will no longer be able to track pets? For the life of me, I can't find where I read that... Perhaps it was some weird SWG induced dream.

I remember that notice as well... Perhaps it only related to tracking your own pets.

Too much information to remember these days.

This seems to be stealth nefed sometime between tuesday and thursday last week. I used to be able to track pets too - but then one day I log in with yet another of those updates with no notes, and it was gone. I'm vauge on the date, since I didnt test all my abilities each day that I see the patches...

Weird. I cannot track pets at all. They don't show up either in Animals, People or Players. I was staring a t a handful of pet graulers yesterday and they were not on tracking. However, I did see "a transport shuttle" under Animals.
