I just can't begin to express how utterly lame that is.
What next -- you can only mask scent while prone?

Well, I'd imagine you would have to mask scent you and your mount.
Anyways, what kind of a ranger are you having a mount? j/k

You can /maskscent before getting on the mount and you should retain the effect while mounted...
- At least it was that way the last time I checked Test Center. Mind you, that was a couple days ago.
The developers simply mass disabled commands while mounted...
- Most likely some of them will be re-enabled in the future.

Ok while still completely lame (scouts I can see having problems with this but not rangers) you're right about mask scent holding while you're not mounted so a quick macro...
/dismount;
/maskscent;
/pause 1;
/mount;
make sure your mount is targeted and unfortuantely you need the 1 sec delay or it doesn't work.
Still lame tho.

yes you can mask scent off the mount, and then climb on and your still masked. But to remask you must dissmount.
