why is it we cant use maskscent on mounts, or heal our selves for that matter.../sigh... i ...i just dont get it

because we can't use any skills while mounted. But I agree we should be able to us maskscent, heal, harvest ect... just not combat skills.

Maskscent can be used on a mount. You just need to dismount to apply it with /maskscent. The actual masking will still work when mounted, though.

however, be careful because sometimes the creatures will ignore you and attack your mount...and if youre on a spat or a kaadu, that's not a good thing

If you are an enterprising Ranger you'll start selling conceals to all those artisans and such using mounts as travel from point A to B Conceal them, let em hop on their mount...and tada, provided it doesn't break on em...they've got a long mask scent in place and some defense against npcs as well.
