I am a Novice Ranger on Ahazi and I went to Dant last night as i have been for many nights in order to get into a strong Hunting group and get some big money kunga missions. After hitching up with the a crew or BH's and Commando types I started to browse thru the mission list. Alas, the horror begins to set in as i am checking the details on the level 99 missions.... No Kungas at all.... Lots of those evil lizards.... and nothing pays much more than 20K... That was all very interesting..

We set out and started the nighty eradication of creatures from the Dant plains... as we finished missions the I was averaging about 2K as my cut from the mission success. Very different from the 9K-10K I was used to. As time went on.. my companions were bitching and some left the group andwe had tograb some additional players. It was a good night all in all.. I leveled in 2 ranger boxes and 2 CH boxes... But in the end I began to listen more closely to the complaints about not enough $$$. Hmmm.. I thought about it and actually I believe it is a wonderful thing... since overall it will bring the cost of goods down and everything is relative in a player run economy.. If we are getting paid less for missions then the cost of supplies and weapons should come down also.. I finished Up the huntand traveled to Coronet. I walked out of the Starport and shouted "I have 3K of Dant Herb Meat and 1900 Units of Dant Carnivore Meat if anyone is interested" ..... Even with everone screaming to buy mounts... or train mounts... within 1 minute and 30 seconds i sold the 3K of Herb meat for 30K and the 1900 units of Carnivore for 12K...

My faith in the system was restored... As a Novice Ranger I don't have alot of money, usually only about 75K -100k and I had not sold any meat prior to this. So in the end I still made about 20k from the missions on Dant and another 42k from the sale of the meat. 62K from a night of hunting will keep me going. Don't get too upset about the loss of the Kunga missions.. just be happy that you are scout / ranger so that you can still sell the by-products... With the Kunga missions you couldn't harvest those guys so now you can still make the same and maybe better money hunting animals. The biggest thing is that instead of every group that Ijoin all want to hunt Kungas for the money, now they want to hunt creatures.. which only makes me better off. Thank you Devs.
