Thread: Wayfaring 4 and Mounts
Carrion Spats are the fastest land animal out there for mounts, I ran against one as a Master and it did pull away, I can however outrun a Dewback without a problem.
In the burst run same thing, I canrun as fast as a dewback at its gallop but can not keep up with the Carrion Spat.
Hope this helps.
You will notice the speed increase when you use /gallop. It lasts longer than burst run. A run that took me about 30mins when MR now takes me about 10 with my 3 mounts out. I /gallop with one, then as soon as it slows I store it (it cant keep up with my faster mounts gallop) and switch to the slightly faster one. If I require them for longer distances I can use a quick camp and get them all out again. By the time the last one gets tired the first is ready to gallop again.

do you mean you outran the dewback on flat ground or up a hill? if you outran it on flat ground that is sad because that makes mounts seem not so worth it (atleast a dewback, bol, etc.). up a hill its ok to beat a mount cause the TN doesnt affect the mounts uphill/downhill speeds and you should be going faster.
