Has anybody gotten one of these recently and what did you get it off of?

This weekend I killed 5 regular rancors, 2 rancor youths, 2 enraged rancors, 1 enraged bull rancor, and 5 ancient bull rancors and got nothing but hide.

Maybe they don't drop anymore?

They drop, they are extremely rare. I'm proud to have found the best rancor teeth ever dropped. I sold them 5k each and then got bids for 25k each.

Also they come like 12 at a time sometimes so make sure your inventory is open when looting. I looted by 5 teeth were left on the corpse and before I could adjust my gear the corpse poofed. Possible profitof 125k down the tubes.

what type of rancor did you loot them off of? or was it all types?

i must be kiling the toothless rancors. maybe i should distribute floss?

what are the rancor teeth used for?

Rancors teeth/tooth are "supposed to be" the equivilant of krayts blood for weapons making. Its an enhancment for sword cores, I have yet to see a good rancors tooth sword that would match some of the krayt enhanced fwg5/scatter/rocket pistol's that I have seen .... granted they nerfed WS abilities with weapon enhancements since the new patch BUT I still haven't seen a sword to match a pistol BOTH being enhanced...
