Profession/ Bounty Hunters: Bounty Hunters will now be able to accept Ranger bounty missions for Ranger players. These missions will be available from the \Bounty Hunter mission terminals. The perma-death rules have been reinstated. A ranger will be put on these terminals for wearing a ranger tag in the open, using the forage skill, deploying a camp, crafting a trap, or using area track in any enviorment. Happy hunting.

Just kidding, I felt like adding to the chaos. I think we should see how the new droids work before we all start screaming. I'm glad the DE's got the revamp that they wanted. It gives me hope.

I hear ya. I am going Fencer as much as possible til I have to start dropping the Tracking line of Ranger. I wont come back til they give me a reason to.

Can only say, we started as a low density profession.... camping was the premier reason.

We continue to be a low density profession. I daresay that there are more Jedi than Rangers.

Oh well. Harvesting for cash is a thing of the past. I will run FP missions til I max that, then buy lots of neat stuff, then max it again.

I made more creds in 10 mins letting some clown train me in Ranged 1 this weekend than I did harvesting.

I will say, I did use areatrack usefully. Found the Peko Albatross (shades of Monte Python) and with a lot of help got a feather. Next, the Giant Dune Kimoglia.

I have enough money for now, and missions only add more. Plus FP missions been dropping some neat weapons too. A mind poison DL 44 and a D18 that has a decent bleed. Screw harvesting. Droid idea is stupid anyhow, why take the 60% drop??

Harvesting. I hunted for 2 hours on Endor doing Gurreck missions, I gathered 2.9K wooly hide, which I sold @ 60 cpu, giving me a cool 174,000 credits. Plus I was getting 9k credits for each mission.

200,000+credits (including missionspayouts)for two hours spent doing the thing that I love most, hunting.

Nice. Im also on the RIS epic hunt

because to quiet honest (apart from setting up my ranger shop) theres nothing to do that hasnt been done a million times before in this game in terms of involving hunting. So far my stash looks like this:

3x Peko Peko Albatross Feather

2x Reclusive Gurk King Hide

2x Woolamander Harrower Bone Fragment

Im not sure what the shopping list for RIS looks like so im just trying to gather as many pieces as possible until im happy to ask a qualified RIS dealer

You need a feather, a hide, a bone fragment, and a Giant Dune Kimogila Scale PER ITEM. 2 Feathers if you want the advanced version (with a schem from the geonosian dungeon). The hardest by far to get is the Giant Dune Kimogila Scale. It is meant to be about a 1 in 40 drop if not more (I know I've killed over 15 of them with no luck). Good luck.

BTW, I think most armorsmiths would make it for free if you brought them all the components. It is, afterall, something almost no one gets a chance to make.

Ive killed 2 giant dune kimos so far and only got 2 enhanced normal kimo scales scales. It will be the enhanced version ill be going for. Will that require:

From what I've been told, yes. And I think it is 9 pieces. The feathers are probably the easiest to get, though. No static spawn but they are meant to drop every time. And every spawn should have 3 waves. The other three all have a static spawn but the drop rate is lower. Oh, if you are going for the advanced, you will need to bring the schems from the Geonosian Dungeon for the advanced layers. I'm not positive but I've been told they drop off the Acklay. Might be other stuff as well but it will be a rare item.

I got 3 feathers off 4 kills so looks like they drop MOST of the time
