My God. I was so wanting to be proud of being a Ranger. To add something to my guild, and the groups I hunt with. As it stands now...I die a lot, mostly because a human ranger can’t wear that much armor w/o the encumbrance penalties.

TRACKING A waste. What is the point? 80% of the time, other players in my party finds what I am looking up first. And get this.....players MOVE. So for me to track a player, who is 438m to the North, I have to stop and track every 5 seconds. The tracking process itself is about 10 seconds. May not seem like much, but when you are tracking something on the move, it can be an eternity. What needs to be implemented is the EXACT same tracking method EG rangers have. Or have the target show up on its own radar screen. SOMETHING that actually allows us to track, not just see what direction something is.

TRAPPING

Again, what is the point? The ratio of making these things to how long they last to damage done is pitiful. Let the effects really last, and make a UBER TRAP for Master Ranger. Something to make the other players say “THROW A TRAP”!!The HUNTER aspect of TRAPS; Much like crafters crafters can place harvesters, we should be able to “set” traps. This should be a ADV TRAP 4 skill only. We can track an animal and set up a trap, to auto harvest whatever resource we set it to. I believe this has been tossed around for awhile.

And don’t get me started on harvesting. Master Rangers should be able to harvest ALL 3 resources from one carcass, as well as get tons more than the Master Scout.

I don’t know. I realize this is a bit of a rant, but for crying out loud!! For us casual gamers who aren’t holo grinding professions like mad, and really wanted to be Rangers, I would love to see us get some attention from the DEVS. Something that will make us more provocative to play and more of a bonus to any group.
