Ranger Archive

I did 31 professions (all but armorsmith and politician), got my jedi, determinded jedi isn't a fun profession, and now I'm coming back to Master Ranger/ Master Rifleman.

I'm going to cash in on those 80cpu contracts that pop up almost every week on Radiant, make awesome camps for my guild hunts, cammo my guildmates, and track down those krayts.

Out of all the professions, I enjoyed BH, ranger and rifleman the most. I hope Ranger gets some dev love, but if not I'm still going to fly the Master Ranger title high and proud.

Still, I don't see why you need master to get good harvests. The harvest bonus isn't that great for master over hunt 4. Niamb can heal better with her 110 med droid outside of camp than she can in a camp and she has a crafting station build into her droid so I never understood the point of the fancy camps, beyond looking cool. Traps just seem to slow down how fastAriex kills the top prey of the moment. Camo? Doesn't seem worth the skill points. Mask scent works pretty well for me. Guess that's why I'm 0-0-4-0.

Waiting to see how these harvesting droid modules play out. Unless they give a significant bonus to level 4 hunters, I may be dropping all ranger skills and focus on killing fast and sending out my trusty harvest droid. Seems to me the harvesting droid may gut what little reason there is to be a ranger, but I'll wait and see how this droid thing plays out.
