Thread: Are traps broken now?

See, this hasn't been an issue for me. Regardless of location, they count against ya as to inventory, so I always have carried them in the "top inventory". At a glance (ok, control I, I can see how many I have left. The spares are also in the top inventory.
Fact is, most of the important stuff - stims, weapons, traps, clothes, droid repair thingus, are in my top inventory.

Related question: are the trap modules on droids working ok? I have 2 droids with these modules. A dedicated mouse trapper droid and an adv r3 with a trap module + 1 combat module + stacked auto rep modules. Mouse works like a charm but the other one doesnt seem to throw a trap at my command. Strange. Whats your experience? Also, do you find trapping modules useful for solo hunting?
I have and r3 with 3 trapping modules and it does work. You still need to be at 49 m from your target to throw / command it to throw a trap (So anything thats hostile is allready heading towards you to bite your head off). Unfortunaly i didnt get a combat module put in the droid so if it gets attacked it flees makeing it pointless.
Just load it with wire mesh traps then set up a tell pet macro on a alias and spam it while you fight creatures, and the trapping xp will roll in.
I could finally get some play time and the problem (or feature) seems to be that if the droid is already engaged in combat, it tends to disregard the "throw trap" commands. Since the mouse droid doesnt have a combat module its always available for throwing traps. The other droid is usually busy tanking for me by the time a give the trap command, so it seems to balk at my command. Either that or i have a descendant of the HK-47 on my hands
