Krayt Dragons? Oh you mean the big lizards on Tat....I thought they where just a mirage. Everytime I have seen one, they have been dispersed with the arrival of a commando,jedi,CM,heavy swordsman. But what the hell do I know, maybe the toons where mirages too. The desert does strange things to you when you are out in it for long amounts of time. Ever had a conversation with a rock outcropping that kinda looked like Elvis or the face of the Virgin Mary? Tat's spooky I tell ya..(Goes back to muttering and cleaning gun.)

Nope, I dont recall ever actually having a trap stick on anything larger than a juvvie krayt.

Last time I went Kryat hunting I tried traps on it. Through a little over 45 traps (took around 40 mins to kill the critter) and not one stuck, even on the very rare occaision that the Krayt was stunned. VERY occaisonally, state effects from my carbine or our TK/ Fecner'sblows would stick but traps simply bounce.

Best to use weapons because on high level critters they are more likely to inflict states (if less reliably on low level to mid level critters) and at least you are doing damage.

Sorry to hijack a bit, I'll return the thread shortly, but I have a quick question:

How does one spell and pronounce those big camped lizards on Tattooine with all the HAM and armor and resists with the theeth and the gnashing ans the stomping...

Krayt - pronounced like a crate of Grey Gabaki.

Kryat is a result of bad or lazy typing or spelling, and the spread of this mispelling to people who don't know better. And is, for **edit**-retentive spellers like myself, something to cry at.
