Thread: Leave of Absence

Well, I guess it had to happen eventually. My friends have always said I have the attention span of a twelve-ye...
Anyway, I will be taking a leave of absence from the ranger profession. I still feel that I'm a ranger at heart, and I know I will return someday. I do this only out of curiosity about other professions, not out of dissatisfaction with my own.
I guess I knew it was time when a 50 cpu avian shift popped up on Yavin, and I just didn't want to hunt it. (Avian, why did it have to be avian...)
Ialready miss the HTFB, the increased creature knowledge (my favorite), and of course, the Master Ranger title.
I hope I will still be welcome in the community, as I'd like to stick around. The community of rangers is the best.

Enjoy the other professions. I recommend trying the ones that everyone seems to call ineffective (Smuggler, Squad Leader, etc). I think they arereally quite a bit of fun as they are now (actually, they are some of my favorites). It just helps to show you how much people really like to whine.

of course you will.... the name of the game is to have fun, and if you arent having fun, do something else
I did, and I found out that I loved being a ranger.
When I get sick of the hunt, I settle down and try out something else... take care and good hunting mate
