If this is the base I think it is (quite small and in the northern desert [also not too far from some largish stone huts]) then I can tell you that the spawn rate there isn't too high. I spent quite a while (a couple of hours) looking around in that area because it looked like a good place for it (although not knowing the info you mentioned) without any gorax spawn. Maybe I should try taking a proper hunting party up there to see what I can find.

Checking the image dump photos, all the post fix ones seem to come from that region (by visual examination, I'm pretty sure that even those with the waypoints blotted out or hidden are within a 2500m of that spot). But it is a big region to comb. Let us know if you find anything. I'll probably try to arrange a hunting group to go up there when I get a chance and check it out (might be a while, though). Also, if you do find one, make note of the time of day. I've found that krayts seem more likely to spawn at night (although they are not limited to night time spawns) but it looked like most of the Gorax screenshots were taken during the day. Wow the more i keep seeing this thing, the more im becoming obsessed to find one, that thing is insanely huge, maybe ill try my luck and see if i can bag me a gorax Do they drop anything neat? Any special Gorax loot? Or is it just for picture taking purposes? Either way, totally worth it
