chances of that are definately higher if you actually state what the job is. Not that I'm on Flurry, but I know I would be more intrigued by an actual job than the remote possibility of one.

Given that he wants a good neutral or a rebel Ranger, I would guess that it is a Jedi looking for someone to track creatures for him. A lot of the higher level Jedi need to kill quite rare creatures for any sort of xp at all. Tracking can really help find them. But this is only a guess.
