Disclaimer: I made a seperate thread because the other one has apparently turned into an ethics class. I'm not a Ranger. But I worked with a Ranger friend of mine to develope this macro after he saw the recent macro postings and wanted something better. Being a programmer, not an SOE programmer unfortunately, I was happy to help out. And now I'm posting it here for anyone to use, improve, or throw out.

Summary:
This macro will cycle thru a number of camps placed in your toolbar. Waiting only the required time to reach max xp and using the /attack command to disband.

1. Place your camp kits in your toolbar.
2. Setup the following macro repeating until you have all the slots on your toolbar with camps included.

/ui action toolbarPane04;
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/pause 900; - Set to number of seconds for max xp
/stand; - In case your position changes while afk
/pause 2; - Need time to get up
/attack; - This is what "disbands" the camp
/pause 35; - This is to make sure the combat is register
/stand;
/pause 2;
/peace;
/pause 1;
/peace; - Just in case the first one didn't work
/pause 130; - Delay until the old camp goes poof

Cut and past changeing the slot and/or pane number until all camps are used up.

3. Go out into the field. And find either a lair or a creature that dosen't move around much.
4. Disarm any ranged weapons
5. Run macro.

How it works:
Basically it is takeing advantage of the fact that a creature won't attack you until you do damage. And once combat begins, it waits 35 seconds to make sure the game registers the combat and disbands the camp.

Improvements:
You could possibly add an auto targeting line to it incase your creature was killed or otherwise disappeared while you were gone. Something else you can do is run a second macro at the same time, like a crafting or surveying macro for added effeciency to your time.

Congrats, you are the 1000th person to post yet another in a series of macros.

Pick up your prize at the door as you exit.

Rangers don't need macros. Morons, on the other hand, do. Please drop this macro in the BH forum.

Now move along...

My first two thoughts were...what if the lair you are attacking despawns and what is something spawns closer to you? This macro works I am sure, but a more reliable way to get that pesky survival xp is to grind camps (they give xp when you craft them). I do appreciate you trying to help us out though (hint to community..actually, JB's answer makes me think he is slipping a bit )!!!
