Thread: Wildspawns and mission spawns!
While punching around with my PH, some dude runs past me, straight to the harrowers, kills them, and runs off
HOW RUDE!!!

Prices vary from server to server, but they're good loot if you can get them. I looted six on that trip, and sold the entire lot for 2 mil. Might have gotten away with a slightly higher buyout, but I honestly can't complain.al-djinn'iMaster Ranger/TKM
When I was newish I was at the palace and looted some bone frags... a bunch of em. It was my first time killing woolamanders and I ended up selling the frags amongst a pile of other crap for 100k. I'll always regret that; retrospect is 20/20 eh. At least it was a learning experience!

had that happen before, but the idiot was a declared rebel so killed himas he escaped, thankfuly he never got the goodies and i've never seen him again
Posts like this really make my day.
And Rhuidean-- yeah, the palace can be a hotspot at times. I'm usually pretty lucky when I go there (not in terms of loot, but in being the only one there). But, if someone else is there camping the NE corner, I just move on and get back to my hunt. Checking the palace now and then while hunting is fun. Sitting there twiddling my thumbs waiting for the harrowers to respawn (which takes a long time) is not.

and in the usual way, i take out to look for some wildspawns as they hold more bugs
then the missionspawns does. BUT, the planet was practically crawling with players,
and i got a few friendly tells
Turned out to be someones mission spawn and not a wildspawn.
So basically, is there a way to tell the diff. or do i just simply have to move off
the mission areas and far far into the wildernes to get some peace while harvesting?

Woolamander Bone Fragments you say?.....I seem to learn something new about this game every day

Another deal about spawns.
The more players on the planet, the fewer "wild spawn" it has. Try hitting Corellia at server reset (8am for me) and you get wild spawn all over. Wait until the lil darling's are home from school and you can't find a wild spawn to save your lungs. Gags me, as 95% of the morons don't leave Coronet either.
If you wait too long, such as after work, and the spawn is good, your walk may be for naught. You may have to resort to missions to get any resources.

That's one of the reasons why Yavin is my absolute favorite stomping ground. It's just not a popular planet, at least on Naritus. I don't think I've ever seen more than ten other people there, even when there's a good shift in yavinian resources. I've not had any trouble hunting there even once.
