Ok, I am now frustrated beyond belief. I have looked, searched, hunted even wandered the deserts of Tatooine in search of this boar, and Ive yet to find it. Im making quite the trade in dune sight seeing trips, 500k per hour for a wander around the deserts, but I still havent found it for anyone or myself.
So questions;
Does the boar show up on animal tracking?
Does it spawn in different places on different servers? Ie. On my server of Ahazi, are the waypoints and general areas going to be different to someone writing a guide on Wanderhome?
Has anyone got any tips or tricks for finding the hero spawns? Other than finding the guides on the forum and just areatracking the area untill youre parched from the heat.
Im not really a fan of tracking, but at 500k per hour its quite the business. Shame I have never found what Im looking for, whether its npcs or jedi animals. Strange really. Still, an hour running around using the /lost command seems to work nicely haha.

The boar is trackable under animals and it seems to spawn in the same general area on each server. I analyed the waypoints given in the guide and found (tracked) the boar within 200m of one of my search points. I have yet to find the Alttuism or Honor spawns (from a lack of trying) but I spotted the Intellect spawns just by looking at my overhead map.

I've found the boar several times due south/southwest of the tusken fort. Maybe 3 or 4k from the fort. It seems to like that area on Corbantis as I've found it two days in a row in the same general spot. It can be frustrating....but patience is the key.
good luck.

Ah, the boar... I hate that pig. But I at least did find it
Does the boar show up on animal tracking? - Yep, yup, yeppers, uh-huh
Does it spawn in different places on different servers? Ie. On my server of Ahazi, are the waypoints and general areas going to be different to someone writing a guide on Wanderhome? - The waypoints in the game guide give the general area. It seems to spawn three times at each location, doesn't wander THAT much unless it chases somebody off it's patch and forgets it's way home. Some folk say there's a 15 minute downtime between the last spawn at point A and the first spawn at point B, but I don't know for sure.
Has anyone got any tips or tricks for finding the hero spawns? Other than finding the guides on the forum and just areatracking the area untill youre parched from the heat. - That's about it. If there's a bit of downtime on your server for some reason, get out to the waypoints pronto. The other trick seems to be to be out ther edoing other stuff, not looking for the waypoint, and then you'll stumble across AL the NPC's huddled in one corner crying cos they feel everyones out to get them...

Y'know, I might go do some of that today, for the heck of it. It's that or gather junk in space and sell it...

Go to the game guide forum, print off the waypoints.
Boar - 10 mins
BH et al - 2 stops on the shuttles ( you do know they spawn near shuttleports)
Rancher - (moisture farmer) 5 minutes
Dumbass Pirates - 4 hours over a week. Now I find them about every time I go East of Mos Eisley
/arworked great. I was even nice enough to tell others where the boar was after I took mine down. And I frequently tell people where the pirates are.
Here is the trick for all but the BH and friends. Plan on making two circuits of the waypoints. Hit the wps the first time. This seems to cause a spawn after a period of time. Then go and use /ar to check the wps from afar. Worked for me. And if you plot a route, you can check as many as 3 waypoints from one spot sometimes.

I've always foundt the boar in the square area NW of Mos Entha (among the wp: -2000, 6000 / 0, 6000 / 0, 4000 / -2000, 4000).
I usually start my trip from Entha and wp the -2000, 6000 point (so I almost follow the diagonal of the area) then, when I reach the 0, 4000 point,I begin to track. I usually find it at the third /areatrack.

Yea i found the bounty hunter quickly after I got off my arse and found the waypoint for him. I'll try for the rest at the weekend I think just after server reset.

Don't rely on tracking so much to find it. Tracking usually won't pick up stuff that is already in the area that hasn't popped onsomebody's radar. If it spawns within 499m of you then yea it will track but if it's 300m away already then it probably won't track unless someone is sitting there killing it.
So tighten yourgrid lines and keep an eye out. Yes waypoints are nice to give you an idea where it can bebut its a random spawn so itcan be anywhere inside the outer border they create. Make sure you cover the whole area, allowing for all animals to appear.
The area is alot smaller than the pirates or the farmer but I'm pretty sure there will only be 1 spawn point at a time. Ona busy server (where the boar actually gets killed regularly instead of sitting in the same place for 9 hours waiting for someone) you should average about 2 hours to find it (could take 5 minutes, could take 4 hours).
I would give you the waypoints to the outer border of the box he is in but thenI would have to kill you.

It usually takes me less than an hour to find the boar since I know the very confined area that it spawns in. The only hero of Tatooine quest that I have trouble with is finding those darn pirates. I'm not sure if it's just a problem on the Eclipse galaxy but their spawn points are completely random. I've found them at the oasis near Mos Eisley, I've found them on a hill near Anchorhead and there was another time that I actually found them only 500m from the Ranch. I've also heard reports that they were spotted just south of Mos Taike! When I do find them something usually goes wrong anyway, e.g. no converse option on the leader, random despawning, incorrect converse option with the rancher's wife etc. The thing drives me nuts! They're the only thing I'll refuse to track for someone.

I found the boar several times now by having my radar on 256 m and looking for a single yellow dot...

- On Intrepid, I found the farmer twice in as many days. Start from Mos Taike and head diagonally towards Bestine, stopping every once in awhile to areatrack, he seems to spawn in that area. If you stick too close to Mos Taike, you can spend 1.5 hours looking for nothing but womp-rats!
- The BH is pretty much a joke, follow the WPs of your local galaxy, the BH pretty much spawns around the shuttleports (as mentioned above).
- The boar, haven't looked, keeping my fingers crossed.
- I've been looking for the stupid pirates for a while, gave it a good couple of hours, but no pirates. It's a little frustrating, but once it's done, it'll be worth it.
Ah the quests, I hate them so much.
