A friend and myself were out killing Juvenile Canyon Krayt dragons 2 days ago, and we got no loot. I was wondering, do the Juveniles drop loot?

Yes, they drop loot. They other day I got 2 pearls and a set of nice tissue from juveniles. Very lucky night.

I've found juves to be a better source of loot than their parents to be honest ! If your out hunting always get the juves first .... if you dont, some other group will !

Juves are easier to kill, and from what I gather, just as likely to drop loot. Of course if you see an ancient go for it, you might never see another one afterall.

I must be doing something wrong when im out there, because i find myself taking class A spanking from any creature
above the size of a giant Nuna. Enraged (or something like that) Dune Kimogilas seems to love a certain Trandoshian Ranger for Lunch.
(All meals come to think of it...)
And the Krayts im ashamed to talk about... KO within half a minute
I bet i would get my scaly ass kicked from a baby Krayt.

Ahh....im trying to solo just about anything i can come across.
Im starting to give up on the NS Elders, because they seam to have a special dose of extreme hatred
tucked away somewhere, always ready to get it out for me

Not sure how easily a canyon krayt can be solo'd, you would need to be uber melee or something doc. Myself (rifleman/ranger) and a swords buddy have no troubles with canyon krayts and can handle a giant pretty well, but another tank helps a ton. I've been a part of a few groups (3) to take on ancients. First time I hadn't mastered rifles or ranger and it was horrible I think I died 3 or 4 times. Second time a little better but still quite a mess, I'm convinced that large groups in big game hunt only complicate things (my opinion). Last night myself a tkm, a jedi knight, and a couple others killed 2 no problems, the third one killed us all almost instantly. IMO, and sadly I say this,a ranger is probably not able to solo a canyon, maybe but it would be very difficult.
My 2 cents

tbh i have never really had much problems with krayts.. my ranger is master ranger / master swords and i never really take that much damage.
Never solo'd one though to be honest... (i prefer to group in mmorpg's).. gonna give it a go though and see how far i get.

My regular Krayt huntnig party consists of a Fencer, Swordsman/Doc, Jedi and myself a Rifleman. We do quite well it seems, just takes so damn long reducing an animal that has 400k HAM

I've taken tissues, armor segments, pearls, and lots of meat, bone and hide off Juveniles. They are just sooo much fun to play with.
I found that with burst run I can actually make it all the way around the guild hall and strafe the little uglies and then race back around the front and strafe them from there.
Now the canyons, wellll...

Only place Krayts ever spawn. Around the graveyard.
You can find them a long long way off from the graveyard too. I've had most luck tracking around 900m away from the graveyard entrance
