I have searched the ranger clickys and faqs and not found anything on this (maybe im stupid but nevermind) so

Please can you tell me, does creature harvest mod cap at 100? if this is so does it mean than droids/veghash/any cas/aas (in existence) have no affect on the quantity of resource harvested?

also - what is the easiest way of selling milk (average quality) that you get off standard mobs, aka pikets ? who to, where etc?

question 1: yes although it can be boosted with a harvest droid (must have a harvest mod over 100 to get a bounus) also you can use veghash to increase harvests.

question 2: sell it to a be they use it. any stack of high quality can net a good profit to a ranger willing to do it (like i soon will be for my be alt)

I don't know about the cap, but veghash and a good droid do stack over 100. Now how the droid figures in is up in the air ATM. The DEs are trying to figure out some hard numbers but only time will tell.

Please note though that the HB on droids dosn't add to your Creature harvesting skill directly. A HB 111 droid does not add 111 to your Creature harvesting skill mod. It seams that as a Master Ranger the best you can expect out of a droid is a 5% bonus (about what I get from a HB111). Veghash adds point for point to your Creature Harvesting mod, and the droid bonus is added to that. Or at least so it seems. +34 veghash works better for me than +21 so I would venture to say that if there is a cap it is very high.

I've never seen a Creature Harvest CA or AA and there are no BE clothes for this mod. Those are where you normaly see a +25 cap.

But I'm also new around here so hopefully someone that knows a bit more will speak up.

Leexards also get a +10 to creature harvesting. As stated, you can then take Veghash to increase the mod, and a droid will increase your havest even more.

Basically, the best single harvest (there are debates as to who harvest more per time) will come from a Trandoshan Master Ranger with 30+ Veghash, using a 100+ harvesting droid.

Yep.. what he said...

However, translating these numbers to a significant increase in harvesting does not mean that you will have a lot more units at the end of the day.

I did a test a while ago. I harvested 100 kaadu without veghash, and 100 kaadu with veghash and a droid. as a master ranger/ zabrak, without veghash i got around (dont quote me on the numbers) 2000-3000 units of avian meat, with the droid/ veghash i pulled in around 2500-3000 units.

The benefits are there, but they really dont show up unless you are constantly chewing on veghash and using your droids. That and the profit margin of the veghash + droid batteries will cut into your profit that may or may not offset the additon of harvested units.

Stupid question. What is Leexards? You mean Trandoshans?

I have a 114 Harvest droid and the FS Survival Line. I do a see a small increase in harvest based on the droid. Dont know about the FS part though.

Heh..yeah. It's an inside joke that I didn't think about when I posted. I should have named them as Trandoshans right off the bat.

You will get a boost to creature harvesting with either a droid high enogh in capability and with vegahash, but you will even get more using both at the same time.
