I have been working my way up through ranger since the better part of last month. Worked my way up through Scout on my own, reading the forums, starter guides, and FAQs. In my entire time though I have never hunted with a Master Ranger(at least knowingly)nor with another Ranger Group.
I guess I have formed my own style of hunting but would love to learn from a Master who has been around awhile. So far it has been very much on my own with trial, error, then clone. Would there be a Master Ranger on Eclipse I could possible tag along with on a hunt, unbuffed to see how the Masters work, trap use, tracking, that sort of thing? I live the lifestyle and love it but have never ever even hunted with another Ranger, only the occasional Scout I meet while hunting on starter planets. I'm interested in learning the little tid bits of Rangering that only comes with hanging out with those of your profession and hunting side by side.
My current Skills are:
Riffle - 4/3/3/3
Ranger - 3/3/3/4
Novice Medic - (soon to be lost when I reach Master Ranger/Master Riffle).

You can keep medic and still have some skill points left over. Even after mastering.

I finally got my Novice Ranger today(took me a month to master Scout, but I'm proud to say that I am now part of the games BEST profession) and was about to ask the same as the original poster. Though I am looking for a Ranger on Gorath who could maybe teach me a thing or two.

Well I am on Eclipse, (forgot to mention that in my original post I think) and would like very much to hookup with other Rangers for sure. I am Eastern US but play at all times due to my odd work schedule. Just shoot me a Tell or an in game email and we can set somthing up.
@JB - I think they re-worked the skill points required boxes since doing away with Apprentice points cause it looked like if I were to Master both Riffles and Ranger, I would have to drop Novice Medic but will check it again when I log back on this afternoon/evening.
BTW - I try to read the posts fairly often and allhave good information, thanks to all for it.

Welcome to Rangers! Shhh! No one knows we are here we are camoed!
Lol
You most likely have hunted with a Master (not sure which server you are on), because not a lot of us advertise that we are M Rangers. But as to styles, I would say, and I have hunted with a lot of Rangers including other M Rangers, we all have different styles from the TKM - Ranger who must get up close to do his killing, to pistoleer/carbineers who need a little bit of room to be really effective, to M Rifleman and even MCHs who use animals extensively in hunts and fights, and some who dabble in various professions to get their skills, others who like to use traps a lot and those who really like to camo and see if they can sneak right up on top of that Ancient Bull Rancor and attack it before it even has a clue that they are there. So all of us would have some very diffenent approaches and styles. Set out a request here to Rangers on your server to join you and go hunting with you. I believe you will find a lot of us who would be willing to go along with you.

Ya, looked at it JacoSmlee and can do it if I drop all of Range Support again. Is Range Support usefull to yawl? I found warning shot usefull when swarmed by beasties at times but that's about it.
