Is it me, or is there a large amount of Lizard Rangers, at least on the forums. I have also noticed an increase in Lizards in general (non-rangers) on Wanderhome. Long live the lizards!!!

I have noticed many lizard Rangers myself...think there is a good reason for this. Many Trandos are brawlers, particulary moving up the TKA line. To become a TKA you have to kill many, many, creatures, and when you finish killing them, they are right in front of you. You take novice scout so you can build camps and heal in camps (critical for any Brawler, there is tons of camp downtime). When a dead creature is staring you in the face, why not harvest, free XP, right? So there you go up a bunch of the scout lines to begin with. Trapping comes next, cause you get bored killing little things, and traps help you kill bigger things.

I think this is basically what happens...in many cases Trando=brawler, and brawlers become scouts. In my case, I found that although my original goal was TKA master, I really enjoyed being a scout, and now Ranger...so Ranger has become my primary profession with TKA more of support...

Funny. I had no idea that I wanted to be a ranger either, however, I was silly enough to think I could be a rifleman as my main prof. A lizard rifleman has more hurdles than other species do (low mind and a nerfed prof). I eventually decided I liked hunting and thought maybe I would be a good ranger, and LOVED it. Eventually, after I decided that rifle was not going to be fixed for a while, I picked up BH and I like the damage dished out by the LLC, but I am starting to get the itch for a new prof. I do know, i can never drop ranger, though, of only becuase they are the only boards I can stand to read.

Let's hope we can keep it a calm place to come and converse about Rangerly things.

I started out seeking to my Ranger prof.

At the same time I wanted to be a Rifleman.

Trandos are just plain cool.
